Goyo González

Goyo González is one of the most prominent media figures in Spain, with a constant presence on radio and television. What few people know, though it resonates with equal force, is his voice in painting. Since 2019 he has exhibited regularly in Madrid, beginning in La Moraleja, where his mixed-media work drew genuine and sustained attention.

His paintings, worked in pastel and fluorescent tones, trace an emotional territory: landscapes of solitude, inner glimmers, and a subtle resistance to disconnection. In his first solo exhibition, 'Solo' (2024, La Moraleja), Goyo's canvases revealed intimate tensions between presence and silence, inviting reflection without artifice.

This is not art for spectacle. It is born of necessity: each canvas is a confession, each color a breath. Goyo paints what others are afraid to name. That is the urgency, the depth, the essential nature of his work.

Beyond his extensive career in radio and television, where he is recognized as one of the most influential voices in the Spanish media landscape, Goyo González has found in painting a parallel language of expression. His media presence has served as a platform to give visibility to his artistic work, allowing him to reach broader and more diverse audiences.
