Óscar Martín Osmar
Fotógrafo Contemporáneo
Oscar Martín OSMAR was born in Madrid in 1969. Although he didn't know it at the time, he has always been a photographer, with an innate photographic eye that allows him to frame life without losing perspective.
At 18, he took his first photography course, discovering the magic of darkroom development and a channel to express and reach places his words could not. His path begins with urban and landscape photography, eventually arriving at the conceptual, where he can develop all his concerns and the full philosophy carried by feelings and emotions.
There are three fundamental pillars when creating his compositions: time, music, and culture, all indispensable in his life. These elements intertwine in every image, creating a unique visual language that transcends the merely descriptive.
All of his work is part of a single series, ANATOMÍA DE UNA IMAGEN (Anatomy of an Image), a journey through life's struggle in which objects, like a cast of actors, play a different role in each composition, with black and white as co-protagonist.
