Borja Barrajón
Borja Barrajón (Madrid, 1985) is a Spanish sculptor and abstract artist whose work explores space, matter, and sensory perception. Trained at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, he works with materials such as alabaster, Calatorao marble, and white Macael marble, pushing their physical properties to the limit to create pieces that activate the viewer's sensory experience.
He has been recognized with important awards, including the Pamplona International Urban Sculpture Competition (2023) and the Cosentino Prize at the III CAPA International Sculpture Competition (2023). His works have been presented at fairs and exhibitions such as Art Madrid'23 and Art Madrid'24, and are part of public and private collections in Spain.
His work combines formal rigor, poetic sensibility, and an exploration of void and form.
