dEmo Artist

Eladio de Mora, dEmo, is one of the most original and internationally recognized Spanish artists, a multidisciplinary creator with an unmistakable aesthetic rooted in Pop. In recent years his works have become an almost constant presence outside museums and galleries around the world.

dEmo finds double readings and transforms everyday elements and playful objects into true icons. This iconization of the domestic and his use of vibrant colors are the main hallmarks of his work: bears, ducks, divers, clowns, dancers, flowers, rhinoceroses, cats, and robots that can reach enormous dimensions form part of the urban landscape he proposes, as a sculptor who seduces the public through the smile, without losing sight of the fact that sculpture is not an object, but a question and an engine for thought.
