Every photographic gaze begins by pausing.
La Primera inaugurates the space dedicated to contemporary photography within the gallery's programme. Óscar Martín Osmar and José Manuel Feito each capture, from their own visual language, the essence of the photographic gaze — the arrested instant, latent symbolism, the poetic construction of an image. An inaugural exhibition that lays the foundations for what photography can contribute to the gallery's artistic dialogue.
